Therapy for High-Achieving Women in Missouri & Illinois
Burnout, Anxiety, Perfectionism & the Emotional Demands of High-Pressure Careers
High-achieving on the outside. Exhausted on the inside.
High achievement often comes at a cost. You may appear successful, capable, and put together on the outside while quietly carrying chronic stress, anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt, or the feeling that no matter how much you accomplish, it never feels like enough. Therapy provides a space to slow down, better understand yourself, and create lasting change.

Many of the women I work with have built successful careers. They are attorneys, physicians, executives, women in finance or private equity, entrepreneurs, and other professionals in demanding careers. I also work with women in law school, medical school, and business school pursuing a professional career.
From the outside, others admire their accomplishments, but few see what happens behind the scenes.
You may constantly question whether you've done enough. You struggle to slow down, feel guilty when you rest, and carry an internal pressure to always perform, achieve, or meet expectations.
You may appear confident at work while privately feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself and the people you love.
For many high-achieving women, success does not eliminate anxiety—it simply changes what anxiety looks like.

I Understand the Pressure to Keep Achieving
My practice is intentionally designed for women who appear high-functioning on the outside while quietly carrying anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, relationship stress, or emotional exhaustion.
As a former attorney, I also understand many of the unique demands of practicing law and continue to work with women attorneys navigating burnout, anxiety, perfectionism, and the emotional demands of the legal profession. At the same time, my practice serves women across a wide range of high-pressure careers, including medicine, finance, consulting, executive leadership, and entrepreneurship.
Because of my background, you won’t have to spend your first several sessions explaining the culture of your profession before you can begin talking about yourself.

REASONS TO BOOK
CLINICALLY TRAINED
You’re drawn to therapy that goes beyond symptom relief—a space with a curious, reflective, and empathetic therapist who helps you uncover the unconscious origins of your thoughts, feelings, and relational patterns, and understand how they continue to shape your present experience.
DEEP, INSIGHT-ORIENTED APPROACH
Therapy can be challenging work, and having a skilled, clinically trained therapist by your side makes all the difference. After transforming my own career from attorney to therapist, I completed several years of advanced clinical training at both the St. Louis and Chicago Psychoanalytic Institutes. This depth of training allows me to look beyond symptoms alone, helping you understand the underlying patterns that keep you feeling stuck.
WARM AND APPROACHABLE
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable. My goal is to make the process feel approachable by creating a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, asking difficult questions, and exploring what matters most to you.
