For the Woman Who Has It Seemingly All Together,
but Feels
Less Than on the Inside

Many of the women who
come to therapy with me are thoughtful, capable, and deeply attuned to others.

They’ve often learned—early on—to be the steady one. To manage more than their share. To stay aware of what others might need, sometimes without even realizing they’re doing it.

Over time, these
ways of relating can become exhausting, showing up as anxiety, relationship conflict,
or a sense of disconnection from yourself.

These patterns often become more visible during periods of transition and emotional vulnerability. The path to motherhood, including infertility, pregnancy loss, and third-party reproduction (surrogacy, egg and embryo donation), as well as the transition into motherhood itself, including working motherhood, postpartum adjustment, and postpartum OCD, can intensify feelings that are already difficult to understand, manage, or hold alone.

What once made sense in a particular context may no longer serve you in the same way.

There is often a deeper story beneath these experiences—one that deserves time, space,
and careful attention.

A MOVE TOWARDS DEEPER WORK

MEET YOUR THERAPIST

Hi, I’m Joanna.

After more than a decade as an attorney, I began to notice that legal work, while intellectually challenging, often left me feeling unfulfilled and yearning for more heartfelt work.

Through my own personal experiences, I came to understand the transformative power of psychotherapy—particularly within a space that made room for complexity, vulnerability, self-understanding, and meaningful change.

Today, I feel privileged to be entrusted with deeply personal stories from women who are working through some of life's most difficult experiences. I seek to support women through these moments, whether in their careers, relationships, or along the uncertain paths to motherhood.

My hope is to offer a thoughtful, steady space where women can feel more understood, more connected to themselves, and less alone in what they are carrying.
