A move towards more meaningful work

Investing in therapy is a decision to turn toward yourself—to begin understanding the deeper patterns shaping how you think, feel, and relate.

This work isn’t quick or surface-level. It’s a meaningful investment in lasting change—one that supports more authentic relationships, greater emotional freedom, and a clearer, more grounded sense of who you are.

INSURANCE

I strive to make the financial aspect of therapy as transparent and straightforward as possible so we can focus more fully on the work itself.

SELF-PAY FEE
Therapy sessions are $160 per session. I recognize that finances can sometimes be a barrier to care. As such, I maintain a few sliding scale openings as availability allows.

IN-NETWORK
I am an in-network provider with Aetna of Illinois and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois.

I will verify your benefits prior to your first session.

OUT-OF-NETWORK
If you have a different insurance plan, you may still be able to use out-of-network benefits. In those cases, payment of my $175 session fee is due at the time of service. I provide monthly superbills (detailed receipts) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, which often ranges from 60–80% depending on your plan.

I recommend calling your insurance company before our first meeting to verify your out-of-network benefits for behavioral health. Find the number on the back of your card and ask:

— Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

— What percentage of the fee is reimbursed?

— Is there a deductible I need to meet first?

— How do I submit claims for reimbursement?

I also encourage you to use Nirvana, which is a website that will calculate your out-of-network benefits for you. You will be able to verify your out-of-network benefits to understand what your insurance company may reimburse.
