A move towards more meaningful work

Investing in therapy is a decision to turn toward yourself to begin understanding the deeper patterns shaping how you think, feel, and relate.

This work isn’t quick or surface-level. It’s a meaningful investment in lasting change that supports more authentic relationships, greater emotional freedom, and a clearer, more grounded sense of who you are.

SELF-PAY & INSURANCE FEES

I strive to make the financial aspect of therapy as transparent and straightforward as possible so we can focus more fully on the work itself.

SELF-PAY FEE

Therapy sessions are $165 per session.

DIAGNOSTIC INTERVIEW FEE FOR OCD

Before beginning Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), clients complete a comprehensive 90-minute OCD diagnostic evaluation.

Because OCD is often mistaken for anxiety, perfectionism, or generalized worry, a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation is essential. During this 90-minute evaluation, we will identify OCD symptom themes, obsessions and compulsions, assess symptom severity, and determine whether ERP is the most appropriate treatment approach.

Book as session with Joanna to discuss next steps and fees for the 90-minute assessment.

IN-NETWORK INSURANCE

I am an in-network provider with

  • Aetna of Missouri

  • Aetna of Illinois

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois

OUT-OF-NETWORK

If you have a different insurance plan, you may still be able to use out-of-network benefits. In those cases, payment of my $165 session fee is due at the time of service. I provide monthly superbills (detailed receipts) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, which often ranges from 60–80% depending on your plan.

I recommend calling your insurance company before our first meeting to verify your out-of-network benefits for behavioral health. Find the number on the back of your card and ask:

— Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

— What percentage of the fee is reimbursed?

— Is there a deductible I need to meet first?

— How do I submit claims for reimbursement?

I also encourage you to use Nirvana, which is a website that will calculate your out-of-network benefits for you to understand what your insurance company may reimburse.
